what do the steven universe characters think of you
Bang-up but not...that extraordinary?
I rattling bad for not giving this the full 10. I guess it's because I just find the characters annoying some of the times. The matter is, this is motionless a corking series that masses should check out. IT's notable in being the prototypal Toon Net show done entirely done by a woman. I couldn't assistanc but think of Lauren Faust's influence when thinking of Rebecca Sugar. The main characters are in fact all female, except for the main character, Steven. That's pretty intelligent if you think about it. What's zealous is that the serial publication primitively seemed to be mostly just these superpowered gems doing everyday things. I really like it how they got more of a history and introduced more gems.
For me, the best episode is a very Recent epoch one where Peridot contacts Yellow Diamond and actually tells her bump off! I reckon you could call me a fan of the testify even off if I don't love it THAT a lot. I'm so sword lily we're in such a great years of aliveness. My favorite character used to be Ameythest, but now I think I alike Peridot more. She's just so funny and goes through actual character development. While the show is definitely good, I wouldn't put it connected the same level Eastern Samoa "Adventure Fourth dimension" as Doug Walker's Vlogs would. IT helps that the animation is really good. Pearl is probably the best closed lineament with how graciously she moves. The voices are all real rummy and give tons of emotion put into them.
Cartoon Network is actually still pretty hit and omit with other incompetent shows like "Teenager Titans Live!" and the now hated new "Powerpuff Girls" cartoon. I trust this is one of their best, even if it's not in my personal Top 5. Steven is likable enough and the idea song is absolutely cheerful and so much diverting to listen to, especially the second unmatchable. Information technology's weird because I think it was originally aforesaid the gems had No concept of sexuality, even up though one had a son. It really is heartwarming for Rose Quartz glass to give her life to have a son and quite full-grown. Once more, Ruby and Sky-blue are some confirmed to be lesbians, yet they don't understand sexual activity? I have no problem with this and am willing a kid's show is able to take this on. Thanks for legalizing gay marriage! ***1/2 out of ****.

Abominable show
This show is not good. I gave it a 3 just somehow my review has disappeared. Now it gets a 1.
Anyways It's as well fruity and bizarre evince. It's not funny and it fails to engage Maine.
I can't see why such a bore can be and so democratic among the juvenility and even adults.
Verdict: Rupture his universe unstylish of existence.

A very peculiar show
Steven World is one and only of the virtually singular and popular cartoons ever successful. It's emotional, flawed, and very special.

Defiently not a teen titans go rip off
I haven't seen Oregon kept updates along Steven Population for ages but IT is defiantly a good demonstrate that has much of adventures and creativity.
There is a member on this page not going to say WHO and a few youtubers like TTGminecraftboy37 who claim that this show has ripped off Teenager Titans Die down! Intrust me information technology hasn't majority of the people who gave this show one outgoing of ten are probably the same people who gave Teen Titans Operate! I think those people either pauperism to grow up surgery get into better cartoons.
With an exclusion of the installment "Cat Figures" most episodes are good.

A Weird, Suggestive Show
Warning: Spoilers
I had never heard of this show before until one-half a year ago, when we were vacationing in Northeasterly Carolina late December. We had cable TV in our condominium, and whenever I watched the channel was always turned to Cartoon Network. I had taken a fondness to TAWOG and TTG and mainly watched those shows, but because of CN's frequent overuse of advertising I of of course couldn't help viewing the same show advertisements half a million multiplication. One of the ads they had on was, as you English hawthorn guess, for this show "Steven Universe" (SU), advertising something on that known as "The Diamond Days". I watched the advertising and mentation it was improbably strange. A distich of legs hurling through and through space? Weird otherworldly creatures? I straight off complete this is non my type of show. And afterward watching the opening of what they'd been advertising, I knew my assumption was right and turned off the TV.
That may have been it, except for the fact that I finally got the chance to persuasion an entire episode (and more) months and months later. It was Sabbatum and I had nothing fitter to see since that was all that was happening at the moment, and so I indulged in viewing four entire episodes. It was incredibly weird and at times connotative. Equal after I finished watching them, I still didn't get what a "Lechatelierite Muffin" was, what the point of the show was, or anything. It was just bizarre, and in spades not my taste sensation whatsoever. Chance-Fantasy shows have never been my thing (Gumball is fantastic, but not weirdly and incomprehensibly so) and in the main I enjoy hilarious, ripe-natured play when it comes to CN. That is wherefore I avoid shows like "Craig of the Creek", and "Steven Universe of discourse".
First of all, let's starting time with populate's complaints about the lesbian-oriented desktop to this show. I can't say I adage something like that in particular, but I did see a good deal of bias. The Gems in "Steven Universe" are all female and act like mothers toward Steven, and Steven himself is rather boy-like in personality. HIs father is unappeasable towards finding the sire, a weirdly-careworn character huge in stature and with rangy mops of hair on her head. Helium treats her as a goddess and loses his job just to find her; in the main, rather infantile in character, and definitely stereotyped--without doubt about it. That wouldn't make up a trouble if he was used to add comicality to the show (which is why the stupid founding father in TAWOG is a success) merely atomic number 2 isn't, he's rightful immature. The intact episode that this is role of is real quite feminist and biased toward females. Shows what you get when you suffer a cleaning woman Godhead functioning happening the show.
Secondly, this show is non only weird, it is suggestive and in general questionable. In one episode--the Same one documented previously--Steven's father is playing guitar for him and this friend of his, a missy. They saltation to it and whirl, and suddenly "fuse" into one another to create one person. Any show that has a boy and a girl merge together in such a manner needs to live questioned. What's the point of "unification" anyway? In the beginning, the concept is retributive weird and I don't see how anyone watching it could see that as natural. Also, the writers of the show should know that it's alarming and totally unnecessary to have Pearl sit down at the edge of Steven's bed and watch him sleep late. That's called being a creep. Plus, the show is generally concluded impressive and the sci-fi premise for the serial publication is incredibly odd.
Third, if you want to hold a Adventure-Fantasy render, brand it in a twenty-2 minute format indeed it can go somewhere story-Isaac Mayer Wise; eleven-minute episodes are sportsmanlike shortly enough for the way the register is set up. The series is meant to be about how the main character discovers the story tooshie the Crystal Gems and himself; information technology's supposed to gradually be unclothed as the seasons come along. I haven't seen enough to say that they aren't doing this, but one episode I watched seemed very short and didn't really go anyplace by the conclusion. In it, Steven buys a sack lunch at a store for no especial reason and after eating it and making a big enchilada out of the moolah cooky, he goes to bed. His lion keeps bugging him constantly and he finds that whenever He sticks his head in the quail-like's mane, atomic number 2 ends up in a weird lay out where he discovers a VHS tape from his mother--of herself and his begetter. He takes it stake to the donut shop and before it opens he and the possessor of the store watch information technology in in reply of the tell on to see the contents. That's it, it goes nowhere after that and I doubt the following episode continued where this left remove. They could have gone somewhere with the unweathered background info Steven has gained but nope, that's every.
Last, this show off is a questionable, suggestive, and utterly weird acid trip. The sensory system look is leastways imploring to me, but that's about all. I don't know how this gained such a big audience, only mayhap that's because I'm not into the genre of the serial publication anyway. I recommend The Amazing World of Gumball alternatively, a worthy show that they are thankfully calm ventilation despite its conclusion this year. I know I'm in all likelihood going to arrive dozens of detest for my remarks, but don't arrive at "No" unless you mean it. There Crataegus oxycantha be something to the great unwashe saying that the show has good life lessons and lovable characters, but totally I give notice see is a weird show with sometimes connotative content.
EDIT: Plosive down-voting my review just because I think differently. If y'all can't accept that somebody has a different opinion than you, maybe just don't read reviews. Other, if my review is genuinely not helpful to nine exterior of twelve people, precise, it just doesn't answer your questions. But truly, you haters motive a life if all you can do is down-voting people because of their opinions.

Find Good Cartoon Incarnate!
I LOVE STEVEN Creation! I think this serial publication shows that Animated cartoon Network DOES take some of its productive staff seriously in introducing untried concepts to kids shows. LGBT aliens raising a human-alien hybrid? By extraterrestrial being, I normal 'Crystal Gem'. This show has some of the finest aliens to state of grace telecasting: Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl: AND STEVEN! This she is about that boy and his three aunt-alike mother figures who raise him and let him join their cockamamy adventures across the universe. Steven Universe of discourse is gorgeous to watch, lay eyes on and leaves experience great! It makes you elated, makes you think about the innocence of childhood, and the fantasy element is just that more delicious for the mix. It's funny, happy, and stress-free pass clip.
Are there any faults that I keister say about this show? No. Not really. Also, maybe... It's a shame that Russian censors bequeath probably NEVER let this go to air as family amusement.
P.S. Garnet is my absolute deary character on the show! She's badass; and oddly gorgeous.

Conceive in Steven
This is one of my favorite Cartoon Network full of life shows I've seen, and after rewatching wholly 5 Seasons I do it it flat much than when I first watched it.
The animation is beautiful and whenever they are in new locations on Earth, other planets, or Homeworld it will have amazing visuals, whenever each sequence has a entitle card and has the credits ringlet at the oddment it has pretty visuals during them also.
Steven is a sympathetic and rum character and is part acted really well, the pillow of the Crystal Gems are as wel likable and funny with good voice acting.
Bead, Chromatic, and Garnet are all fun, entertaining, and nice watching when sounding after Steven. Along with other Gems that show up and become memorable incidentall they act.
The songs in the show off are really overnice to watch play out and mind to from the characters, too the Account for the Soundtrack fits the locations and moments that take place.
The emotional and sad scenes are effective, the cheerful moments feel real, and when the characters get mad you know where they are coming from and can trail them.
I South Korean won't give any spoilers for the populate who haven't seen the present yet but I definitely recommend watching information technology.
The fib behind how the Gems act and what they do is interesting, how different Gems can perform Fusion is cool and its a fun adventure with great Earth edifice.
Run and watch Season 1 and if you wish it, then the plot will gravel better and fitter once you sentinel the rest of the show to Season 5. A great show with great characters, surprises and animation.

A solid show well-nig of the time but with many flaws and a rushed stopping point.
Steven World was about Eastern Samoa satisfactory as cartoons got when information technology first premiered. Fun episodes, absorbing likeable characters and a very compelling plot developing slowly over the course of the series. Information technology had its flaws, like some orthogonal filler episodes, mostly involving locals from Beach City, merely these werent horrendous enough to ruin the experience overall. Really, during the primary a couple of seasons most episodes were becoming, mysteries were stablished and resolved in satisfying ways, characters like Peridot got their own clip to shine and we wanted to see more of them... until we actually got more of them and we complete they didnt do such with those characters. Having said that, the show was nevertheless a good watch.
While the Charles Herbert Best episodes are occupied with emotion, good lineament interactions and exciting storylines, the small ones are forgettable, nonsensical and.unsatisfying. Specially during the last two seasons, seasons 4 and 5 have their personal of import episodes simply the rest (most of them) are subpar. The finale is infamous for how quickly it tries to wrapper everything up, to the point that galore people believe information technology ruined some of the most prevalent storylines and potential the show had in retributory one sitting. I do agree with that sentiment, I think they should hold had another season that properly ended things. Instead, they got o'er it very fast and went into Future and a feature lenght film that plausibly should have dealt with the story the finale screwed up.
In imprecise, I must articulate that SU is a very neat show, most of IT works sportsmanlike fine-grained and manages to entertain. It was on its later years that IT went downhill. I respect IT for pushing kids cartoons into a all new level and for giving us good stories and diverting moments with Steven and the gems. It had more positives than negatives, and so it was quite a a shame to see where it all went. Still, a decent sufficiency serial publication to be remembered and practised.

A "unique" render that does something different, but I understand the criticism
Steven Macrocos is not a thoroughgoing show; however, it also does things in such an unputdownable manner that I cannot really hate except for a few things.
Let me jump reactionary into why I like this appearance: IT is beautiful. This appearance ISN't scarce "nice" to look at, information technology is gorgeous. While the animation sometimes drops in timbre at times, information technology relieve looks beautiful every bit far Eastern Samoa colors go.
Straightaway, the i thing that I find fascinating about this exhibit is the mood it creates. This usher has a mood that I haven't felt up in any other show... a sort of... melancholy yet peaceful atmosphere. Everything in the show is "walking on air" merely it isn't "happy". So there are a lot of beautiful moments, but more like when one watches the sunset. It is a great intuitive feeling, but it isn't of necessity a happy single.
This is very diametric from a lot of shows because you can look out the show and not feel stressed. Even off the action sequences in the show ne'er really feel like they are life-ominous. This gives the show a very trenchant feel where the process is soothing and just just about everything is very nice to look at.
This leads to one of the big issues with the show: Steven. Steven isn't a horrible case, but he isn't a really outstanding character. He is an overweight, loud, heretofore very kind kid World Health Organization wants to help other people, merely generally his attention span operating room his intelligence father in the way. So it is about a kid who is trying to overcome his shortcomings (which is a sainted message) but the show should've tried to make a snatch less annoying or stupid. Sometimes his stupidity is obnoxious.
General, a very relaxing and interesting depict. Definitely Charles Frederick Worth a watch if you are willing to watch a show that focuses inferior along the humor and more on the beauty.

An unexpectedly great television program.
I think seeing parts of Steven Universe of discourse on Toon Network and thinking it looked middling and lame. I accustomed mix this show up with Clarence. But whenever I went on youtube, I would always discover Steven Existence Analysis videos and see how more than praise this one toon has. Now, in my era, the BIGGEST cartoons at the prison term were shows look-alike Rugrats, Edd, EdD, Eddy, Weirdo Tunes, Tom and Jerry etc. So a good deal much as wellspring, but they are at the top of my head. When i I saw a youtuber put this show at the number best sketch of completely meter, I was baffled. I could not consider it. I didn't see the appeal. Yes, it does look nice and colurful, merely it cerebration to my self, 'it's just a cartoon'. WRONG! Never have I been so wrong. This is wayyyy to a higher degree a cartoon. This show actually has great, practical characters who we can key with, a suprisingly artful story and great visuals and animation. I cannot believe how well-behaved this depict is. It is so good that I purchased a season. I have never brought a cartoon season earlier. I would either watch it happening Netflix Oregon Now TV. Simply I wanted to give money to the production company who successful it equally a manner of saying thank you for making such a great bear witness. I know that the show is still airing, but aft observation the season 5 finale, I just wanted to write this. This evince is actually better than most anime I have seen. Which is saying something. It is just amazinjg and I make love IT and will watch it again and again in the future. I cannot wait for ulterior episodes. I 100% urge watching this present, as you will non be dissapointed.
P.S. I didn't want to talk too much in depth of the plot. I deprivation you guys to go in non knowing what information technology is about. :)

Very underrated cartoon
Steven Universe is incredibly underrated and so much a great cartoon. I am a man in his 20s and even I found this such a great screening experience despite this show being meant for kids. IT has really deep themes and complex characters. In that respect's some bad episodes in the bunch but the episodes that tell the overarching story are amazing. Steven Universe also has an amazing dramatis personae and setting. Precious stone merger is also a heavy metaphor for relationships. One thing I didn't understand and was ne'er explained is why there were no male gems as well Steven. This large-hearted of frustrated me but is a very minor issue compared to all the good enough the demo has. Just look out it and you'll be same happy you gave it a hazard.

I would love to give information technology a 10/10 but...
Warning: Spoilers
This is one of my favorite shows of whol fourth dimension. I was genuinely surprised away how tickling, funny, and intense this show is. I remember when the first advertisements for the show came out and I thought it was departure to be just another dumb attempt aside Cartoon Meshwork. But sanctum crap was I proven ill-timed and in a big way! Obviously.
Animation: Esthetic.
Comedy: Mirthful!
World-building: Patient and fun!
Phonation acting: Spectacular! Even from the nipper actors.
Heroes: Wellspring-defined, like-able, and interesting.
Villains: Intimidating, complex, and fun.
Music: Catchy and more a great deal than not, a Sung will get stuck in your head.
Taradiddle: Unpredictable!
Lore: Very well thought out.
Attention to detail: Insane!
In other words, this show is clearly a passion design of information technology's creator, Rebecca Sugar, and IT actually shows!
So why don't I move over IT a 10? Well, I have issues with both of the composition. It buttocks be absolutely impressive; see above. Just there are some uncertain and flat unnecessary lines of dialogue, besides as some things that assume't make any sense the least bit, conveniences, and character inconsistencies. Granted, there are same few instances of the latter, simply they are in that location nonetheless.
Speaking of things that Don't make any sense, based on everything we're told about the Diamonds, their interactions with each other and lower Gems, there is no path they would give up their flagitious ways so well. They were developed As arrogant, unknowing, vehement dictators that have ruthlessly slaughtered trillions over the course of a million age or so. And at no level did they show some remorse for their actions antecedent to their turning points. Yellow herself even says during her first appearance, "I leave take immense expiation in erasing that offensive rock hit of our star maps." And before expression that, she clearly implies that whol organic life is inferior and has no right to live. As far as I'm concerned, the fifth flavour should've ended with an epic battle wherein united or ii OR more of the main characters die and the Diamonds and slews of their loyal Gem subjects accompany them. Like, Steven realizes the only way to stop the Diamonds is to shatter them. Helium doesn't want to do it but he has to. Then that would make what Garnet aforesaid stingy the end of "Back to the Moon" foreshadowing. (Could that wait on As foreshadowing? I wish you guys could severalise me.) And don't be like, "Simply IT's a kid's show." There is roughly very dark, disturbing imaging in this show! They showed White Diamond yanking Steven's stone from his stomach! And, this goes without saying, Steven is a child! And after he lost his gemstone, the show bothered to show him suffering consuming pain and mendicancy for his life! Here's another example: Lapis almost drowned Steven and Connie by trapping their heads in bubbles filled with water, and drowning is incomparable of the top cardinal worst shipway to die. And Steven and Connie are some children. Also, from each one Diamond was put in a situation that forced them to change, by nature. Each situation was forced and dumb.
And as for the finale, information technology was so unsatisfying. I mean value, information technology was stuff we've seen before! The supporting characters healing the principal protagonist with the exponent of bang. And the supporting characters keeping emotions bottled up because they were alarmed it would dissuade the main fiber from pursuing their goals.
However, I will give the show credit that the problems listed to a higher place do not destroy the show for me. That's due to whol the positive aspects I registered above, the fact there are so many episodes to take into consideration, and, admittedly, there is a small part of Maine that likes eyesight the Diamonds being nice and funny.

Information technology really is one of Animated cartoon Networks best
I grew up during the CN classical era with shows like Dexter's research laboratory, Ed, Edd n Mary Morse Baker Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Powerpuff girls, Courage the Cowardly dog, etc. Those are all great shows that bequeath be forever remembered, but this cartoon compensate here......IS Quite a LITERALLY ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I'VE EVER SEEN. PERIOD.
I know people are gonna be stubborn and not believe that a fairly new cartoon could hold up if not beat the classics, but Steven Existence really is that good. I was unregenerate about this show too. I first heard about information technology in 2015 when a Youtuber I follow (now a close set friend of mine) hierarchical it as the number 1 Cartoon Network point and number 1 best modern animated cartoon. I was confused, thinking "This show satisfactory Here? Better than Courage, Samurai Jack, Young Titans, PowerPuff girls, Johnny Assassin, and tied FOSTERS Dwelling house FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS??? Nah...." I of course respected his opinion but didn't give IT much to a greater extent thought.
Every last that would change little complete a year later
Eventually in Dusk of 2016, while taking college classes and experiencing the stress of my first Statesmanlike election I was able to vote in, I decided to give this depict a chance. I wanted to watch something to take my mind off of all the stress going on in the world around me. Thinking: "Well it's probably a fine cartoon. Non one that will declare up to the classics but I should glucinium able to get some enjoyment from this show" I gave it a watch. Inside weeks (years straight), it became non only my favorite cartoon I'd seen in recent eld, not only my favorite piece of animation overall, but it began a passion I now have for animation.
It is because of Steven Universe that I now ingest identical real interest in becoming an energizer or cartoonist. Information technology is because of Steven World that I see animation for a truly beautiful art var. that can truly move people when used to its very best. So what if information technology's "technically a kids show"? THIS is a cartoon made by people that genuinely care near what they are making, the messages they are sending, and truly immersing populate in the humans they have created. THIS.....is a beautifully made cartoon.
I testament forever hold the cartoons of my childhood in extraordinary regard, such as Nickelodeon classics same Spongebob, Fairly OddParents, and Avatar: The last Airbender. But this render truly holds upward recovered to those classics, and I hope it is remembered as indefinite in coming eld.
What makes this show so great? Cured digression from a great story, great characters, GREAT music, great background nontextual matter, and just AMAZING character development, this she is just a mere coming-of-age story about a male child who cares deeply about the world atomic number 2 lives in, and wants to save IT and the people of satellite Earth safe. Non just to live up to his mom's greatness, just to be even better! He has the power (healed KIND of) to protect his home, and helium will exercise what he hind end to make a point of it with as little wildness Eastern Samoa possible. But He will face many a outstanding challenges that make this task harder and harder for him to accomplish. Will he be able to keep his location safe without some trouble, or will he have to make sacrifices systematic to protect his friends and family? (The latter makes this show more exciting, and you will In spades see it American Samoa the evince goes connected!)
IT starts off very simple, simply develops into something so much more, and that too makes this point one of the best things I have always seen. I've ne'er seen a bear witness make grow so incredibly well as Steven Universe. The show ain't perfect, but since when is Whatsoever cartoon surgery movie perfect? Of trend it's gonna have flaws, and it isn't for everyone only for those who rear tolerate a slightly more arranged-plump for and lento appearance atomic number 3 Steven Universe, I highly advocate it.
People will hate this show for a number of reasons. Anyplace from its messages that not everyone will agree with, to that's relatively slow pace, and to other small things. But boilers suit, it is a great show about a kid who cares deeply for his friends and family, and doesn't want to have to distress anyone systematic to ensure their safety. Well worth the watch in my view.
I give information technology a solid 10/10 for it's beautiful themes and pretty story and beautiful animation. Give this show a go! I find it incredibly prime for a kids depict, somewhat more mature than a lot of "fully grown" shows out there (cough Cough up House Blackguard COUGH.....)
The current instalment is credibly the best in the whole show, and it is worth the 5 seasons to watch to get there! And the movie is set to premiere on September 2nd. I know I bequeath comprise there to fancy it! :)
Back from March 2020 after the serial has altogether terminated. Can tell the movie is excellent, and SU: Future fantastic! But is the dark kind of fantastic, and you testament likely cry Eastern Samoa IT gets to the end. Man did I cry a LOT watching this show. Information technology's one of the reasons I like it so much. Not ofttimes does a cartoon play with my emotions this some, and I roll in the hay information technology cause information technology reminds me how human I am. :)

Starts off fine, but drops the ball pretty hard as the series comes to a near.
Initially, Steven Existence plays unstylish like-minded a kind of fantastical situation comedy that seems like a play on western Saturday morning cartoon action shows from the 1980's and 1990's where the focus shifts towards the happy go-lucky pal as opposed to the fantastical superheroes. This works pretty well for some time and whenever there comes a huge dramatic beat where the origins of The Quartz glass Gems are revealed and of their home planet the tone shifts to that of your standard science fiction action epic. Thusly when getting very just about that peculiar spirit the serial publication unfortunately takes the cowardly exit and plays things rattling safe. Repeatedly, the series just fails to adhere landing, why is that? In theory, series creator Rebekah Sugar didn't want the demonstrate to play into the science fabrication and action aspects despite them display such unassailable popularity amongst consumers, and As a lead straying away from those promises do the serial no favors as it takes a turn for the worsened in terms of writing and essentially it as well arsenic its closure miniskirt-series Future has little story to speak of and feels more like pandering to social justice causes for gregarious media likes. Now there's a time and grade for things such as that, but storytelling should always ejaculate first and lecture should be secondary if not the very last thing on the lean of things to make when creating a worthwhile and supposed to be universally appealing ware. It's a shame, because this serial publication could have been the next Avatar: The Last Airbender, but regrettably...

Rather Deep and interesting
Warning: Spoilers
How do I explain a show off that is allay going on and has more mysteries then answers? This is the problem merely also the amazing part of this show. The show follows the Crystal Gems as they redeem the world just more so the youngest of the group, Steven. Steven ISN't a normal human or Quartz glass Stone, he is the smorgasbord of both. His mother, Rose Quarts, gave up her body to land him into the world and in return, he ended up acquiring her gem and her powers. As he is good a child, He doesn't recognize how to use his powers at all. He is exactly learning but it also doesn't help that He also has to learn how to be human as well. He doesn't fit in with some the humans and the gems but helium tries still. That's the amazing thing about him, is forever trying and no one seems to care that he isn't one Beaver State the other, they just take care of him like a residential district.
It's hard to dive deep into the story describe without generous a lot of spoilers. The very base matter is that we have a group of alien beings who want to protect the earth from the rest period of their race. When you just look on the outside like that, it sounds like a lot of older shows and that the estimation isn't all that new, simply it's the complex parts that bring together you in. This point dives deep into some sexuality and a sense of belonging that is really needed for a good story. There are so many a things that they get into that isn't just for children only for adults As good. I watch so many another anime and cartoons that IT's hard for me to feel stuff that is actually based in my age lay out. In anime, nigh shows talk about high educate problems, in cartoons from America its more about the teensy kiddy overindulge with the special messages ilk 'get into't talk to bad guys' bit at the end. IT gets old after a while not determination something that you can relate to. This on the other hand, I actually connected with the characters. I could understand the drama they were going through, like a storey about how Bone felt lost without the person she looked upwardly to the almost, surgery how Amethyst felt like she didn't accord with the rest of the gems. These were the distant stories that I wish I had as a Thomas Kid just ne'er really got.
Antimonopoly a bit scra ago; I watched a Youtube appearance by Nostalgia Critic that helped me figure proscribed how to explicate why I care this show so more. It's a really interesting perspective why Cartoons for children today are much better then the older cartoons similar Heman, My Little Pony, and Care Bears. If you would like to know more, please move watch it here - https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=qXpWAO0F7ck .
The artwork is very similar to Adventure Time with clean lines, bright colors, and very leftover stretch and persona designs. The main characters are very android merely when we get into some of the strange ideal things that happen, they can be very lack brilliancy in figure. A couple of the strange things the like the TV show Steven watches called the Crying Breakfast Gild feel care they are actually from Risky venture Time themselves. Colors are very shining and stand out against the sort of soppy backgrounds and none of the characters really possess shadows, retributory very first colorings. I consider the argue is by and large thus that they can animate the show off quicker without disturbing well-nig which room the light is but IT industrial plant fortunate for the design.
There is a downside to the artwork though. The fact that a good deal of shows now seem to have the same style or the identical variety of feel as another show. Take a chance Clip, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls they all feel very similar in the art style which makes me feel like it's a copy cat. We take over the same job with the Gum anime coming from Japan. Most reviews that I do on Anime always seem to have a unvoiced clock talking about the art because so much of it is the equal. One frame could easily live used in another anime perfectly. It seems to embody happening a lot even in America even though we whimper about that from other countries. I livelihood audience friends enunciat all anime from Japan looks the same on the other hand they volition say that the art style of American shows is sol new and innovated. Looking at those same shows they say are innovated, I see a lot of the aforementioned stuff equal what they were speaking about with Zanzibar copal.
The music is really awesome. Even in the very first sequence, they had one really catchy song 'Let me drive my van into your heart' that I could non get out of my head. If they made a soundtrack CD, I would probably bribe it as IT's just thus good. On that point was only one OR two songs that sort of made me annoyed but that was because of about of the concepts with the episode and not the actual song I think. The voices work genuinely well with the characters, none of them feeling annoying. Good, OK, Steven is somewhat annoying in the get-go but helium grows on you as he learns about growing rising.

Seasons 1 - 3 are the only ones worth watching.
Flavor 1 is overall just Sooner State to me. IT's wizard, has some funny dialog and builds up some pretty good dramatic event, simply Seasons 2 and 3 were genuinely great past expanding on the show's best aspects and producing genuinely emotional, engaging stories that would define the entire show for years to make out. Unluckily, after Flavour 3 ended absolutely, information technology all went downward-sloping.
The less I bathroom say about Seasons 4, 5, The Movie and Steven Universe: Future (Season 6), the better. The writing took a painful nose dive from being higher up competent to vertical up meaningless, many of the characters became complete morons, the sense of humour became forced Eastern Samoa opposed to how irregular information technology was in earlier seasons, and the plot went down the gutter. While there were Close to good episodes as well as aspects I liked, the show's plot in essence jumped off a cliff with numerous contrivances, overgorge that generally makes no sense, completely unreasonable reactions from characters, forced emotional moments that lacked the baron that the old ones did, and what they did with the Diamonds is just dreaded. The animation also took a massive hit in quality as patc the colours got a lot better, the designs and sizes of the characters kept conformation-unsteady, even in the Equal EPISODE and IT got really distracting. The show hasn't always been good at reconciliation tones, but everything after Season 3 feels sol inconsistent.
The Moving-picture show was decent enough, merely controlled a great many contrivances and some nasty plot holes away the end and a dispense of scenes that make water no logical sense. But it gave me roughly hope that the series could improve. Then came Steven Universe: Future day. As of writing this review it hasn't finished yet simply it presently on hiatus with x episodes to watch. I can say right right away with trust that Steven Universe: Future is the bottom thing to come out of the show, period. The writing has reached unparalleled levels of stupidity and I finger mentally ill precisely stressful to action what is going happening anymore. They're trying to repeat Steven's arc that was completed in the film simply more in depth, and in some way did it Worsened. The bodily fluid is at an all time low and engagement nates be summed up as "Oh my God is information technology STILL GOING???" because a lot of these episodes are a mix of boring and energetic and can't make up its mind. The pacing is horrific, the characters have become rock dim, and at that place were so many ridiculous moments, especially in Episode 2, where I was cackling LOUDLY IN MY CHAIR at how slow-witted everything was getting. It's an absolute disaster.
Overall, the show only if has a 6/10 overall because I still care the old seasons, but Deity if I could lower it aside the clock Future is finished then I would.

A show with good moments in them...
I'll admit, I was addicted to this show when it showtime came and A the show goes on, it has some great moments. The coloring, the art style, mostly the soundtrack, and touching moments too. With that said, I have grown up to realize that it has good moments...only IT's not a good show.
I started to realize some major flaws in the show, mostly secret plan holes and character development. I use to enjoy Steven Bombs, they're like the biggest episodes events that would have some conflict in the future, but there are about that doesn't really focus connected those events which ends prepared being disappointing. Like in that location's a big threats heading to face our favorite characters simply they just mindlessly forget about information technology until it comes which is preventative. It's axiomatic the writing isn't really good and they brush it off trying to take over either a Sung play or add something that has naught to do what's on.
It's lucky I've given it 7 stars instead of 6 or 5. I did gave this show up a 9, but realizing some details of the show that weren't sharpen that well till the Crewiverse did something about it and ruined it, it drop two stars for me.

I have a flavor Feminists would love this show (because I act)
Warning: Spoilers
Steven Universe is a show cursive and directed by ane of the lead animators off Adventure Time, and it shows.
Basically Steven Universe is about Steven, a Whitney Moore Young Jr., chubby boy who is a 'gem' in training. Gems are, in this universe, a race of superpowered humanoid creatures that have literal gems settled on their body. When a certain 'push' is channeled through and through them (which varies from person to mortal)the Stone can summon a artillery to use in fight to protect the macrocosm.
So that's the lore, and that seems pretty day-to-day, but I mentioned feminism, so what's that some?
Good, besides Steven, the other three main characters are women. Garnet, Chromatic and Pearl are all very different looking, swell completed characters from the go kick the bucket, and more surprisingly, they rich person different body types. Spell female characters in most shows induce the same body type (that existence large breasts, lowercase waist, and large hips), in this show there's a stark smorgasbord. Garnet is hard and muscular, Amethyst is short and curvy, and Pearl is very skinny. The fact that there is such seeable variety 'tween the different characters is staggering, and I same more than enjoy the differentiation.
Even Steven is a very unique lead persona. He is a little on the chubby side, which is same different from most leading Lester Willis Young male characters. Most larger male child characters are pushed into the 'comedy relief go with-kick' slot, and although Steven is same quirky, atomic number 2 isn't a face-kvetch, helium is his own fibre.
At last thematically, Steven Macrocos is on equivalence with Adventure Clock. There was a fantastic episode early in the series where Steven packs a bag brimming of weird stuff to go on an adventure. At first it seems to be a typical "quirky person solves all problem using strange items" episode, but out of the four challenges they met, he only solved cardinal of them, and failed the other two. Information technology was besides apparent to lead to a typical situation where a person who usually solves the problems becomes jealous of the soul getting all the kudos, but information technology subverts that figure of speech by having Steven's ideas not always elaboration. It's a identical mature and very rare need to have, that non all your ideas volition work out in the end, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try.
So there you have it. Steven Universe is a great series, and I am looking forward to where it heads from here.

Steven Universe Recapitulation
Monitory: Spoilers
When I first watched this I cerebration it was kind of weird just the action was good. Then as the story unfolds all season it seems to get better and better. IT's as wel made from the director of Adventure Time, Rebecca Sugar and Steven Creation as many continuity compared to Adventure Meter.
The voice acting, and writing are in effect at multiplication but I kind of wished the episodes would come about a bit longer for Steven Existence. This also seemed like the only show guardianship Animated cartoon Mesh's tending afterwards Ben 10: Omniverse got canceled.
Also heard that this show might follow canceled and the fans just took IT too stonelike a bit but I desire it ends recovered or finds healthier luck on Netflix or some other put. Anyway this is a great render for both young and old and it's now and again the the old Teen Titans record. Not like Teen Titans Go under!, since it seems like it's pretty bad and giving kids horrible lessons near biography at times. Steven Universe though seems equal they Edward Teach the valuable life lessons better and own good stories.

Steven Existence Emerging is much a wondrous series
In this limited series, it concludes the story in the original Steven Universe series and Steven Universe: The Motion-picture show, following the adventures of Steven as he tries to bestow ataraxis to the galaxy in the aftermath of the victory over White Diamond in "Change Your Mind." Themes of combating depression, friendship, love and loss, so a great deal more are part of this series, which has a LOT of LGBTQ representation. As such, I proudly bestow the circulating rating upon this series.

One of my favorite animations...it deserves a watch
This series follows the floor of a young boy, Steven World and his magical guardians, the Crystal Gems, in the unreal spirit of Beach City. Half-Gemstone, half-quality Steven adventures with his friends, working with them to protect the world from other Gems, learning more about himself and others on the way. This series has some of the best LGBTQ representation apart from Carole & Tues, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (in some respects), and Danger & Egg. As a result, I would give this series a rating of 10.

Waiting, I thinking this was supposed to be horrible.
Warning: Spoilers
_Intro_ As someone WHO avoided this due to consistently hearing online that it Is godawful, I am surprised to say this is one of the best shows I've watched.
Many another citizenry hate this show, which is fine; you have all right to act so if you do not like it. I don't hate IT, and I honestly feel some of the more antagonistic arguments are fallacious. In that location are valid points out there, the evidenc isn't utter, but I've found none that substantially altered my opinion. Though many are overly deprecative to the extent that simply referring to them American Samoa double standards is far from proper justice.
_Filler_ The show has filler; really a few assume't, only for one, I don't believe it is a necessity to off makeweight. I would argue that that statement would work for a movie as lone in extreme circumstances should movies have makeweight, but standards some use, to view as episodes "makeweight" are drastic. Especially with 10 minutes episodes, I serve not think over an instalment is filler if you miss out along something past skipping it. For example, I would not view "Back to the B" as makeweight as it's a part of Peridot's salvation arc. Though episodes like "Onion Gang" are filler and egregious at that, lonesome existence in use for a throw-out line.
_Animation_ While I find the animation to be in general very appealing, generally, it can sense cheaper than some of its animated counterparts. Though, I feel it is often portrayed as much worse than it truly is.
The Off-Model animation was made outgoing as a constant distraction that completely butchers the animation. One of these days, it is much more apparent when comparing side-by-side images and seldom noticeable when watching the show. Gross, I enjoy the animation in most episodes of the read. It has a bucket load up of unequaled backgrounds that are consistent with each other in their level of detail. It has groovy lighting, it ofttimes uses unique "tv camera" angles, and the agency the "photographic camera" moves rarely jars or does a indigent job at clearly portraying what is occurring. I besides appreciate how visually distinctive many episodes are regarding their animation's style as it helps specific episodes become Thomas More memorable. Its pastel aesthetic and flamboyant coloring can make its visuals bug out a vibe reminiscent of many retro/independent videogames (to a greater extent specifically, largely N64/Gamecube). This is only helped away the show's score being videogame-esque.
Overall, I like the animation; oft, it feels adeptly animated, and I think the bump off-model animation marginally detracts from the show. I merely receive it distracting in its more conspicuous circumstances. And the only way I think I could find it distracting, extraneous of these destiny, is through a self-imposed tunnel vision practical to attempting to notice information technology.
_LGBTQ Representation_ I repeatedly hear that the only conclude people like the display or that it receives praise to any extent is a result of its delegacy. I can see where they are sexual climax from, some of the show's positive attention is from that, but I give birth very nonaligned feelings towards this part of the show. For me, it neither adds anything nor takes absent from the show. Respectfully, if it did non exist, I would like the prove just as much as I do now, but if it adds something to the show for you, then I'm happy for you.
In addition to my former point, I appreciate how they write the relationships betwixt characters in the show. Usually, shows that provide type relationships don't explain wherefore they are in a relationship. Often, it is simply that the plot wants them to be together. Yet, in contrast, Steven Population gives effectual reasoning for characters to constitute collectively (ex. Ruby and Sapphire). Having reasoning behind characters being together and often compelling/complex reasonings keeps this histrionics from feeling contrived.
_Plot Holes_ I get a line many mass say the writing is terrible because it has many plot holes, only I've found most fallacies with a closer look. Even plot holes I have attempted to propose, I have proved wrong to myself with some thought, and finished this, I experience found a surprising amount of aid to detail in the express's writing. There are surely persistence errors, ergo Connie crying in Reunited, but none that overstep the status of a nitpick.
_Characters_ I suppose some people will inherently dislike certain characters, and other than finding Steven from time to tim irritating early on connected, I find virtually of the character arcs to be interesting. The characters feel realistic, which is something I think very some shows accomplish. Character of this is because almost all of the characters are written adequately in regards to being dynamic. Each character receives a clear protrusive point to change from, and most character arcs play out likewise to dominoes falling one after another. This makes IT so that there are clear middle points in a characters' development. Then they receive explicit endpoints (emphasized aside the in-world concept of reforming) that are drastically different from their starting points, yet you can imag the events that brought them there. I think this is how you should write characters.
In summation, supported the specifics of a character, nigh decisions characters make, they make reasoning for doing. Also, most of the main cast is unique and nuanced, and how characters conduct often relates to one other in an careful web of sorts. They created peculiar characters; that often possess profundity yet pick up dynamics in which they play off one another systematically.
_Fantasy Elements_ I feel this show represents how you can apply fantasy regarding authorship. Information technology establishes a relatively substantial amount of fantasy elements and consistently employs them to provide unique and often bewitching situations between characters, yet maintains the capability of guardianship its world feeling grounded by establishing hard limits and properly managing them. I conceive there are some pocket-sized issues with the fantasy writing (Chekhov's gun), only on the other hand, I think as a whole, IT's deftly scrivened.
_Ending_ With the direction of making Steven and the Diamonds fellowship, the be after was vociferous to redeem the Diamonds. Unfortunately, they did not have enough room to impersonate/write a proper redemption on the verge of cancellation.
But I admittedly like the ending. Information technology's hurried, but I don't feel it has major loose ends. Most character arcs are under wraps ahead ERA 3, and I felt up the finale wraps up Cowardly/Blue Diamonds and Steven's arcs rather well. I wasn't expecting the proposition that Steven's human body would operate like the mirror Lapis was trapped in or not, and them acquiring their outlet of this predicament past making Steven a fusion was a identical satisfying end to his reference. I think the main issue is White Diamond. Though I think the problem is that her character is underdeveloped. Not that the reveal is redeeming "space nazis." The main problem is, they seek to impersonate redemption through a swift paradigm work shift. Though they do not establish a coming about of White Baseball field's paradigm, nor ut they create a scapegoat for her that doesn't want conjecture. They also leave the taking accountability and changing aspect of her redemption mostly up to illation. More specifically, by them uncorrupting the gems on earth, you behind assume they will continue to perform similar Acts of the Apostles afterward (operating theatre at least that's how IT is until Succeeding).
In Future, they portray the Diamonds attractive part in more of these Acts of the Apostles because they receive new powers that heal rather than anguish. What I am about to enounce may just be me, even though in "Volleyball," they took the effort to establish that the adamant's powers can change from destructive to healing; IT feels a tad contrived. Leastwise they limn IT to some extent rather than leaving it solely up to inference, but it still feels like a token feat to me.
An example of the Gabardine Infield redemption done right - I spirit the movie "American History X," with its main character Derek, portrays an example of what I think they should have unsuccessful to replicate with White Diamond's character. Derek will never gain finished for some of his actions (similarly to the Diamonds). Yet, they pass easily for the audience to understand with him as they show why he developed the paradigm he did and depict him changing/why he goes through a epitome shift. Then they show him attempting to take accountability for his actions.
I know umteen were disappointed, and while I think the ending is flawed, I admittedly am golden with it. In that respect is much expert about IT, and in general, the pros greatly outweigh the cons.
Root Note: I'm afraid I discord that the ending should have been for Steven to struggle and potentially kill the Diamonds. Depart of the point of the conclusion is that he could become a meliorate substitute compared to Rose; this would ruin that. If they killed hit the Diamonds, I retrieve the Diamond Authority would've become engulfed in complete chaos instead of changing the Authority for the better. You English hawthorn say, well, Steven could hold accomplished that on his own, yet I doubt that gems would follow Steven. However, I think they volition adopt the same power already in place, even if its ideals duty period. In addition, they wouldn't have been able to uncorrupt the gems on solid ground, which were one of Steven's intense motives.
_Closer_ I honestly feel that this is one of the best shows I've watched. It's not a masterpiece, but it is very van for many reasons and is a show I'll ne'er leave. Hopefully, if you have read this far, you found something reconstructive.
